German legend Lothar Matthaus is convinced Bayer Leverkusen whiz Kai Havertz will dominate the game in the future.
Havertz has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool this year.
And Matthaus says he is destined for a big future.
"He has set the bar very high," he told Kicker.
"In my opinion, he was the best player of the season, and if Havertz can maintain this level, with that agility, presence on the pitch and scoring, then he can eventually become my successor as the world's best player."
