Neal Maupay was delighted to score on debut in Brighton's 3-0 win at Watford.
The Frenchman explained he couldn't have wished for a better start.
He said, It's an incredible feeling today, I've made my debut in a win that includes a clean sheet and a goal for myself, so I'm really happy. I feel really proud and blessed. I've only been here for a few days but the boys have welcomed me very nicely.
The boys worked really hard and we totally deserved the win.
I needed to give everything I had, thankfully it worked. It was a great ball from Dunky [Lewis Dunk], and I said to Florin we could run in behind when we got on. That's what we did and it was perfect."
