Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is hoping to return from an Achilles injury by August.
The 18-year-old suffered a serious Achilles injury against Burnley in April.
An initial prognosis ruled out Hudson-Odoi out until September at the very earliest.
However, the England international has been given permission to increase his training load by Barcelona-based surgeon Ramon Cugat.
The Daily Mail says Hudson-Odoi's Achilles has fully healed which has pushed forward his return schedule.
