AC Milan are ready to compete with Arsenal for Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet.
The Gunners remain keen on the Belgian, having failed with two offers for Praet and Samp teammate Joachim Andersen.
But Corriere dello Sport says Milan are also targeting Praet, ironically after failing to reach terms with Arsenal for Lucas Torreira.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has insisted Torrerira must stay and also wants Praet to fill the void left by Juventus signing Aaron Ramsey.
