Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster says Virgil van Dijk deserves to be crowned as FIFA's Ballon d'Or winner.
Seven of their players have been nominated for the FIFA Ballon D'Or, with van Dijk and Firmino appearing alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum in the shortlist.
"Why not have a centre-half winning the Ballon d'Or?" Brewster said.
"People will say he's changed Liverpool with what he's done in helping us keep a lot of clean sheets, everybody has confidence with our back four and the keeper.
"I hope he [Van Dijk] does win it."
