Former Newcastle United stars Mirandinha and Lee Payne are planning to open a soccer school in Spain.
The Evening Chronicle says Mirandinha, 60, is counting the cost of two divorces, a failed investment and his attempts to navigate the unstable world of football management.
Without a house to call his own, Mirandinha has been living with a friend, Adalberto Fritolli, in Sao Joao da Boa Vista while his wife and son are based in Manaus, where they cared for his late mother in law.
Mirandinha's eldest son, Emandes, has reached out to family friend Lee Payne, who works as an agent in the south of Spain.
Payne has floated the idea of setting up Mirandinha's Brazilian Soccer School to help his friend and former team-mate get back to coaching again after he was awarded his A-Licence earlier this summer.
