Rodri is delighted with his move to Manchester City.
The 70m signing from Atletico Madrid made his debut for City in their preseason defeat of West Ham.
Rodri said, "It's a dream to come here to City. I started a week ago, and football does not stop. I was excited to start (against West Ham), we won 4-1. For me, it's important to learn the pace for my adaptation here.
"I'm excited to play for City and I'm really happy to be here.
"Pep Guardiola told me what I have to do on the pitch, how to focus on the defensive and offensive side. It's not easy, I have to adapt the way I play the team. With the matches, I will be more confident and more used to playing with my teammates."
