Danny Murphy has spoken out in favour of West Ham United and England star Declan Rice.
The young defensive midfielder is experiencing some criticism for his recent performances with club and country.
Despite England winning 4-0 against Kosovo, and Rice playing 90 minutes, he was critiqued by fans and some pundits. But Murphy leapt to his defence.
"Rice has been West Ham's best player for the last season and a half," Murphy said live on air with TalkSport.
"I think his positional play is good and he spots danger very well."
