Dwight McNeil has thanked his Burnley teammates and manager Sean Dyche.
He first came into the Clarets team last December when they were struggling in the table.
He has been ever present and Burnley are experiencing a resurgence in form.
But McNeil wants to focus on his teammates and boss, who help him to play his best football.
"I just try and take what I do in to the game and try to be positive on the ball," said McNeil to reporters.
"The lads around me help with that. They all believe in me and they all help me out. I just like getting on the ball, trying to keep hold of it and showing what I can do. I've got the gaffer who is helping me out, all the players, all the staff around me, they've been really helpful.
"They're helping me become the player that I want to become.
"I keep getting my chance and hopefully I'll continue progressing as a player in the future.
"He [Sean Dyche] has always given me advice and it's always good to have him around.
"He's a really good gaffer so I've just got to keep on doing what I'm doing.
"I know I can't get ahead of myself, I've got to stay grounded and humble."
