Manchester City believe that Giovanni van Bronckhorst could be a future coach for New York City FC.
The NYC club is a sister team of City, as both clubs are owned by the same group.
Since leaving Feyenoord, Van Bronkhorst has spent a lot of time at City Football Group facilities.
He is seen as someone who has huge potential in management, and City want to see how he may do in MLS.
Van Bronkhorst would end up following a similar path to Patrick Vieira, who took part in City's Elite Development Squad and then managed NYCFC.
He eventually moved to Nice in Ligue 1.
