Ajax sports chief Edwin van der Sar has shut down talk of a return to Manchester United.
Van der Sar has been linked with the planned technical director's post at United.
But he says: "No, I am focused on my work as general manager at Ajax.
We have done great in Europe last season and have become champions. We want to take Ajax to a higher level on a European level, we are currently working hard on that.
I'm in my place at Ajax. We performed at a top level last season and now we have to create the conditions to stay at the top in Europe."
Van der Sar was in Manchester yesterday for Vincent Kompany's testimonial.
