Dani Ceballos made the call on no permanent clause in his Arsenal deal.

AS says Ceballos asked Real Madrid to not include an 'option-to-buy' clause in his loan deal with the Gunners.

The 22-year-old still sees his long-term future with the La Liga club, and hopes his spell in England will allow him to impress the powers that be at the Bernabeu.

The midfielder is likely to get regular playing time at the Emirates next season, and was convinced by fellow Spaniard Unai Emery to join the club.

Ceballos has his eye on a place in Spain's Euros squad next summer.
