Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says John Fleck's Scotland call-up is much deserved.
The 28-year-old has been called up to the squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Russia and San Marino and has not yet been capped for the senior side, despite previously playing four times at U21 level.
"John has come back very strong and positive in his performances," said Wilder.
"Hopefully with just a little bit more belief and confidence, playing in the Premier League week in week out and playing at international level as well.
"From my opinion he thoroughly deserves his call-up. He's been outstanding... every level that he has played at he has embraced and moved forward.
"It's a great reward for him and hopefully he can go and do himself justice when he goes up the road."
