Ascoli have snapped up Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca.
The former Roma superkid joins the Serie B outfit on a season-long loan.
Scamacca moved to Sassuolo from PSV in January 2017 but has played just three times for the Neroverdi.
The 20-year-old was part of the Italy squad who reached the Under-20 World Cup semi-finals last month and is represented by super-agent Mino Raiola.
Ascoli finished 13th in Serie B last season.
