New Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt has defended his agent Mino Raiola.
The former Ajax captain moved to Juve last week and he admits he is grateful for Raiola's work.
He told Voetbal International, "Money played no role in my choice. Everyone who knows me knows that.
"Money has never been leading me. Everyone can have their opinion, I will respect it, but things were settled very easily.
"He just has an enormous amount of experience. There may be a certain negative image of him in the Netherlands, but I certainly don't experience it that way.
"I think that if you ask every player who is managed by him if Mino does a good job, they all do so. That's the most important thing. It's not about what people say about him, it's about what he can do for me."
