French pundit Pierre Menes has joined the chorus urging Olivier Giroud to quit Chelsea in January.
After impressing in France's Euros qualifying victories against Moldova and Albania, Giroud has again been publicly told by Les Bleus coach Didier Deschamps to find himself a new club so he can be sharp for next summer's tournament.
Menes is of the same opinion and said, "It was his second game in 72 hours (against Albania). I found him more alert than against Moldova and if he did not score last night, it's really not his fault. Berisha pulled out a very nice stop on his crossing from the left and his nice curling shot found only the inside of the post.
"The 40th goal will be for next time. But next time, it will be in 2020 and by then, you really need to play more. In Chelsea or (more certainly) elsewhere."
