The Dutchman was the target of chants from the Holte End, principally a rendition of You're just a s*** Tyrone Mings."
And the 75m man was keen to remind the home supporters after Sadio Mane's winner when he cupped his ear towards them.
As the Villa fans grumbled, the Liverpool faithful rejoiced and applauded their towering centre-back.
