The English centre-back is the subject of a potential world record bid from United, who desperately want to sign him before the Premier League season begins.
However, Leicester are not budging on their demands, which means that a deal is still some way from completion.
The 26-year-old wants to join United, but will not kick up a fuss at Leicester either.
