Manchester United still believe Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right person to lead the club.

Sunday's 2-0 loss to West Ham United has ramped up the pressure on Solskjaer.

The Red Devils have accrued just eight points from six games so far this season.

But the club's hierarchy have faith Solskjaer can turn things around and have no plans of sacking him in the foreseeable future, the Daily Mail has claimed.

The Norwegian will be backed in January should he see it necessary to replenish his squad.
