Chelsea midfielder Jorginho believes that a new style of play will not drastically change his role in the team.

With Frank Lampard taking over from Maurizio Sarri, it is expected that Jorginho will have more freedom to venture forward and create chances for the team.

But the Italian central midfielder was quick to explain that he would still be there as a deep lying playmaker, ensuring his other teammates can progress the attack.

"I will be there to control and to organise the team," Jorginho said to reporters of his role in the coming season.

"I will stay in the middle and my team-mates can go to attack

"I don't know [if I will get more goals and assists], we will see.

"I think we can achieve many good things [in the coming season]."
