Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is backing former teammate Philippe Coutinho for success with Bayern Munich.
Barcelona midfielder Coutinho joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan on Monday, with the German club having the option to sign him permanently thereafter.
BT Sport asked on Instagram: "Can Philippe Coutinho prove the haters wrong at Bayern Munich?"
Oxlade-Chamberlain was quick to give his opinion on the situation, as he commented: "He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone."
Coutinho and Oxlade-Chamberlain were only team-mates for a brief spell between August 2017 and January 2018.
