Liverpool's owners have concerns over Jurgen Klopp's commitment should Germany come calling.

Klopp has so far knocked back attempts by the Anfield hierarchy to make him one of the highest paid managers in the Premier League, says the Mirror.

That has increased the fear amongst the Fenway Sports Group that he could be vulnerable to an approach from Germany when Joachim Low's reign comes to an end.

Although Klopp is completely happy on Merseyside his ambition is to one day lead his country.

He still has three years of his current contract to run but Henry wants to rip that up and give him a longer deal.

But Klopp refuses to budge and has talked about taking a sabbatical once his Liverpool contract runs down.
