Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful he will have either Scott McTominay or Paul Pogba back for Wednesday's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils will host former manager Jose Mourinho and his Spurs side, who have three straight under their new coach.

Speaking after Sunday's draw with Aston Villa, Solskjaer revealed he could receive a timely boost for his struggling midfield.

"We have still got two days and we need to look at everyone here as well," Solskjaer said at his post-match press conference.

"We have only got two days, so let's see, but, hopefully, we can see one of them on the pitch."

"They are working hard behind the scenes."
