West Ham United have been encouraged to bid for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Charles Aranguiz.
BILD says while Bayer chiefs are insisting they want to keep the Mexico international, with just a year to run on his deal they will sell for the right offer.
West Ham remain keen after manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted they tried to sign Aranguiz in January.
Bayer chief Rudi Voller said, "Charles stays. That's it. We still want to extend it with Charles."
Sports director Simon Rolfes also said, "We still want to extend Charles's agreement."
However, with his deal to expire in 2020, as things stand Bayer face having to sell this summer.
