Barcelona may struggle to meet the buyout clause for Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann, it has been revealed.

Barca are prepared to meet the 120m option to sign Griezmann, but would prefer to pay it as a transfer fee so they can stagger the payments.

AS says the motivation behind Barca's stand is a cash flow problem.

It's suggested Barca employees were paid their wages for June three days late - a sign the Catalans do not have the money available to pay Griezmann's clause up front.

LaLiga transfer laws state any buyout clause must be paid all in one installment.
