Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho wants Daniel Levy to make a new effort for Juventus striker Paullo Dybala.
Spurs chairman Levy came close to signing Dybala last summer, only to find Juve's terms too steep.
Tuttosport says Mourinho wants him to try again in January to bring the Argentina international to London.
A bid of 100m is being considered - which would be enough to tempt Juve into selling.
Dybala has been impressive under coach Maurizio Sarri so far this season - though could still be sold to fund Juve's own transfer plans for 2020.
