Gabriel Martinelli wants to follow in the footsteps of Arsenal's former Brazilian stars after he completed a a 6m move to the Emirates from Ituano on Tuesday.
The likes of Gilberto Silva, Edu and Denilson have all shone at the Gunners in the past.
Martinelli, 18, arrives in North London with plenty of potential, and he hopes he can become the Gunners' next Samba star.
Asked about Arsenal's Brazil stars of the past, he said: "I know a few. I know Edu, Denilson and I know that they have a lot of history at the club.
"Edu, in particular, I had a little contact with him at Corinthians as I had a spell there and I know they had a lot of success here but also for the national team. I am going to try to follow the same route."
