Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hailed the attitude of Sergio Aguero after victory over Brighton.

City beat the Seagulls 4-0 in a match that saw Aguero become top scorer for the season so far, with six goals.

Speaking to the media after the victory, Guardiola heaped praise on the 31-year-old's goal-scoring ability.

He said: "Sergio scored goals when he was in Argentina at 16 years old and he will die scoring goals.

"He is a special talent and I love that he tries to do it. From day one we have changed many things, but I am delighted about his commitment.

Recognising the work ethic of the striker too, the Spaniard said: "Of course we need his goals, everybody knows it.

"He helps us a lot with his goals, but even the days he doesn't score, we need the commitment. He is like this from day one, so I'm happy for him."
