Nacho Monreal has agreed to stay with Arsenal.
Currently off contract, the veteran fullback has fielded an offer from Real Sociedad.
However, Mundo Deportivo says the feedback from Monreal's minders has been negative.
The defender instead will commit to a new 12 month deal with the Gunners, where manager Unai Emery is eager for him to play on.
Monreal, 33, has just completed his seventh season with Arsenal.
