Aston Villa are pushing to close a triple swoop.
The Sun says Villa boss Dean Smith is waiting for international clearance and a work permit for Manchester City midfielder Douglas Luiz, 21, after a 15million fee was agreed for the Brazil Under-23s captain.
Smith is also pushing through a deal for Egypt winger Trezeguet, 24, with Kasimpasa willing to do business for 10m.
However, Villa value him at just 8m and are locked in talks with the Turkish club.
Finally, Smith is close to finalising a 9m switch for Reims' Belgian centre-back Bjorn Engels.
