Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp played down injury concerns after their 2-1 defeat of Tottenham.

Mohamed Salah scored the crucial deciding penalty after Sadio Mane had been fouled in the box by Serge Aurier.

But the Egyptian's afternoon came to an abrupt end not long after when he was treated for an injury before being substituted.

The 27-year-old has only just returned from an ankle problem, and Klopp confirmed after the match that he had suffered a recurrence of the injury.

There was also another moment of concern for Liverpool fans when defender Virgil van Dijk picked up a knock.

Klopp said: "Virgil has got a dead leg. It's painful but he will be fine.

"And Mo is his ankle, it gets sore the longer the game goes but it is not a massive issue."
