Anderlecht chief Michael Verschueren insists Romelu Lukaku did nothing wrong training with them this week.
The former Manchester United striker moved to Inter for 75m yesterday, having spent the week training with his former Belgian club.
It had been claimed Lukaku had gone AWOL from United, but Verschueren says such claims were untrue.
He stated, "I know their president well.
"If Romelu had not been authorised to practice here, then a call would have been enough and three minutes later we would have interrupted the work out."
