Aston Villa chief Christian Purslow is confident Jack Grealish will play is way into the England squad.
Grealish has yet to be included in the senior England squad, with his chances of making the cut for the recent Euro 2020 qualifiers against Montenegro and Kosovo scuppered by a calf injury.
Purslow told talkSPORT: "He has to be patient. Gareth Southgate has watched him plenty of times.
"I have been watching football for 50 years. I've watched George Best, Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Paul Gascoigne, and my eyes tell me Jack Grealish is a truly great English footballer.
"I really hope the rest of the country will enjoy him as much as I have during my time at Villa."
