Aston Villa are set to complete the transfer of Wesley Moraes on the first of July.
Dean Smith's side identified Moraes as the striker who would replace the void left by Tammy Abraham, who has gone back to Chelsea.
It appears a 22 million deal will now go ahead, as issues surrounding a work permit for the former Club Brugge man have been resolved.
Moraes netted 17 goals last season, with the Brazilian one of the hottest under-23 talents in the game right now.
BirminghamLive believes that Wesley is on holiday in Brazil and his work permit should be sorted by July 1, allowing Villa to officially complete the deal.
