Manchester City goalkeeper Zack Steffen has opened the door to extending his stay with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Fortuna are in talks with City about extending the USA keeper's loan into a second season.
The Germans have also spoken with Steffen's agent about a new arrangement.
Asked about the prospect, Steffen told BILD: "I do not know what happens in a year.
"I am concentrating on the next games, which are very important for us. But it does not have to be the worst idea..."
