On Monday night, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the prime minister, trapped a black cobra in his backyard.

The Malaysian Defense Forces (APM) informed the public about the situation via a Facebook post.

"MERS999 at the address of Bandar Sungai Long got a case of catching a snake from the Hulu Langat District Operations Control Center."

The APM members discovered a black cobra in the vicinity of the Prime Minister's house's guard lodge when they got there.

APM reported that its members used specialized equipment to capture the black cobra. Anwar and his wife, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, had time to socialize with missionaries, according to APM.

Four people participated in the incident and arrived at Anwar's home at 7.33 p.m. after receiving an emergency call. The 800-gram snake, which was about a meter long and in the Hulu Langat District Civil Defense Corporal Mior Norazlan Safian, was taken out using specialised tools.

According to Head Topics, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Functions)  said that volunteers in the Civil Defence Force should be given consideration for the SMART team due to their basic training and on-the-ground experience.

The Minister of the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Functions) stated that the department should be included in the SMART team due to the basic training provided to volunteers in the department and the on-the-ground expertise of its staff.

The suspects, 11 men and 3 women, aged between 22 and 43, were apprehended in a series of raids by Bukit Aman CID's Intelligence, Operation and Record section, according to police secretary Deputy Comm Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin (D4).

At a gathering with state Civil Defence officials and volunteers here on Sunday, he stated, "Perhaps extra manpower and recruiting of new personnel and volunteers can be among the considerations".

He claimed that the APM members were able to capture the 800g, 1-meter-long snake using specialised gear. At a gathering with State Civil Defence officials and volunteers, Armizan expressed his hope that more Malaysians would be eager to sign up as volunteers.
