Citing a Tribunnews report, the victim, known as Aqilatunnisa Prisca Herlan, is believed to have been missing since September 17 after being left alone by her mother in a locked house.

It is understood that the victim's mother, who is currently pregnant with her second child, went out for a while to invite her husband to lunch. But after returning home about 10 minutes later, the victim's mother found that her daughter was missing.

They are sure that the victim may have been kidnapped but what is strange is that no valuables are missing; only the mobile phone that was left with Aqila is believed to have been taken out of the house.

According to sources, initially, the GPS on the mobile phone was successfully detected before disappearing from the radar.

Two days later, the family was surprised to find Aqila's body washed up on Cihari Lebak Beach. Even more heartbreaking, the face of the innocent child had also been wrapped with black adhesive tape and bruises were also found on the head and hands.

A resident who is the victim's neighbor, Arif, said that before the victim was found dead, the victim was reported missing in the rented room, on Tuesday (17/9/2024) afternoon, when the victim was left alone in her house.

Arif said that in the victim's house at that time, there was only the victim with the house locked.

The victim's situation, he said, was playing and drawing in her room at home.

"Not long after the mother left, about 5 to 10 minutes after the mother returned, and when the mother returned, the child was no longer in the room," he said.

The child's death was also linked to a debt problem believed to be related to a mobile phone loan from a client of his father's company.

The victim's father is said to be working at a money lending company and doing the duties of claiming debts from borrowers at the company.

The suspect, who is also a borrower, kidnapped the child after feeling angry because he was being chased and forced to pay his loan debt.

A few months before the victim disappeared, the victim's family also received threatening messages threatening the family's safety through the WhatsApp application.
