Kota Kinabalu: A police report has been lodged by an animal lover who expressed alarm after seeing a mother dog frantically following a four-wheel-drive at Lintas Plaza.
"The only reason I can think of why this mother dog was so desperate going after this car was that her puppies were snatched from her and put into the back of the vehicle,” she told the Daily Express on Sunday.
Besides, she claimed the dog’s physical appearance indicated it had been nursing puppies.
“I suspect the driver of this vehicle stole her puppies for whatever evil purpose, perhaps to throw, sell on Gaya Street, or kill.

“If anyone knows who owns this vehicle, please pass along information so that this poor mother dog and her puppies can be reunited,” she said.
