Before entering university, people around me said that university life would be the best time in my life. Indeed, as a psychology student at Taylor’s University, I have had a lot of good experiences in my uni life. My interest in psychology has brought me to study far from my hometown, Johor. After studying two years of psychology at Taylor's, I have gained a few things.
Friendship
As the saying goes, “No man is an island.” I have a group of close friends in my uni life. We always spend time together after class, study together, and travel together. Yomama, a group of people that I love. They always bring me memories as well as happiness, make me laugh, give me support, take good care of me, and give me surprises sometimes. I can't deny that it is the best luck for me to meet them in my uni life. The feeling of having good friends is lovely and I value our friendship so much.

Confidence
By joining clubs and societies in uni life, I have gained achievement in my interest, which is chess. I joined the chess club and got the chance to represent Taylor's University to take part in Masiswa 2023. Through joining the competition, I have gained friendships, memories as well as happiness. My teammates gave me support, and confidence and took care of me when we were in the tournament. I am glad to play chess again after I graduated from high school. I would like to thank my chess club president, Emir for giving me the chance to play chess and perform myself. Confidence is the key to success.

Inspirations by lecturer
In my course, I have learned a lot of psychology skills. And, I have been inspired by my lecturer, Ms. Affezah. I like the way she teaches in class which always makes the class interesting. She is the catalyst for learning and lifelong inspiration in my academic journey.

Step out of my comfort zone
Last but not least, I have learned to step out of my comfort zone. In January 2023, I was selected to be the public relations officer of Taylor's Psych Society. By hosting events and giving a speech in front of the public, I have improved my communication skills, leadership skills, and stepped out of my comfort zone. Having the responsibility of a public relations officer also improved my time management skills. I would like to thank my committee team for doing our job well together.
