TAMBUNAN: Sabah Star President, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, advised all party members to compete in a healthy way during the party election at the tri-annual meeting this year.

He said members should practice democracy and accept the reality of whether they win or lose in the election of the party leadership at the division or highest level.

“Losing or winning is normal. If you lose today, try again. If we win tomorrow, we will celebrate together.

“I hope that in the party competition, whether at the division or highest level, it will be done in a healthy manner,” he said at a press conference after the walkabout programme and the district-level Chinese New Year Festival at the Pisompuruan Square Hall here.
