In a stunning display of unwavering principles, Bersatu, the beacon of political virtue, has called upon Bukit Gantang MP Syed Abu Hussin to resign.

Because, you know, supporting the Prime Minister is a cardinal sin that warrants immediate exile from the political kingdom.

Bersatu's Information chief, Datuk Razali Idris, delivered a masterstroke by challenging Syed Abu Hussin to resign “if he is a man.”

Because nothing says courage like resigning in the face of differing opinions, right? Perhaps they missed the point that differing opinions are as welcome as a thunderstorm during a picnic.

Let's not forget the groundbreaking call by division head Ahmad Man, who bravely urged Syed Abu Hussin to resign to "defend the fate of the people."

Because, clearly, the fate of the entire constituency hinges on one MP's allegiance to the Prime Minister.

Syed Abu Hussin's audacious move during the Prime Minister's Question Time (PMQT) to support Anwar Ibrahim was met with shock – shock that anyone within Bersatu could actually have an opinion that deviates from the party line. Four others had the audacity to do the same, making them the new rebels with a cause.

Razali, the guardian of political righteousness, took a moment to express serious concern over Pendang MP Datuk Awang Hashim's statement.

According to the wisdom of Bersatu, changing one's support must be solely about personal interests, business dealings, or criminal allegations. Because politicians making decisions based on ideology or conscience is so last season.

Razali also graciously pointed out the alleged attempts to threaten and bribe opposition MPs, suggesting a meticulously planned conspiracy.

Clearly, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the police are playing hard to get by not issuing statements on the matter.

Investigating the "forcing" of MPs to express support seems like a logical step, as politicians making independent decisions is, of course, unheard of.

In conclusion, Bersatu's call for resignation is a shining testament to political integrity.

Who needs diversity of thought when you can have a unanimous party line? After all, nothing says democracy like demanding resignations for daring to differ.
