Jurgen Klopp has committed to Juan Mata's Common Goal initiative.

The organisation, founded by Manchester United veteran Mata, sees professional footballers and coaches pledge at least one per cent of their earnings to a fund that supports football charities all over the world.

Speaking in his acceptance speech after winning the FIFA Best Men's Coach of the Year, Klopp said: "We are all here on the really good side of life.

"There are people out there who do not have the same situation.

"From today on I am a member of the Common Goal family. If you don't know it, Google it."
