Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu has been offered fresh encouragement at RB Leipzig.
The Wales youngster is still to make a first team breakthrough at his loan club.
But sports chief Oliver Mintzlaff insists it would be the wrong call should Chelsea insist they terminate the season-long loan early in January.
He told BILD: "An early return is not an option.
"(Coach) Julian Nagelsmann will improve Ethan in training so that he certainly gets his time in this long season."
