Newcastle United are closing in on the signing of Joelinton from Hoffenheim.
The attacker is a key target for the Magpies this summer.
Per the Telegraph, Toon have an agreement in principle with the German club to sign the Brazilian attacker.
But the transfer cannot go through until Newcastle appoint a permanent manager.
Steve Bruce is the likeliest to take on the role, as he has handed in his resignation at Sheffield Wednesday.
Bruce is set to be appointed by the Magpies sometime in the next week or two.
