Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher says his shootout heroics were a "dream come true".
Liverpool beat Arsenal in a dramatic penalty shootout to decide a 10-goal thriller at Anfield in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Kelleher, 20, saved Dani Ceballos' penalty in the bottom right corner to seal a 5-4 shootout win.
Divock Origi's 94th-minute scissor kick sent the game to penalties after Liverpool had twice come from behind to draw level in normal time.
There were five goals in each half, including a penalty and an own goal.
Kelleher said: "I've done a lot of work with the keeper coach on saving penalties. It was a crazy game to be a keeper, I didn't have time to blink.
"It's what dreams are made of, winning a shootout in front of the Kop. The atmosphere was amazing, I've never experienced anything like it."
Origi also stated: "It's an important moment for the team, we had a lot of young guys. Our mentality is just to keep on going. "I sensed that were pushing, it was an open game. It was a great cross, it was just about keeping my eyes on the ball and I'm grateful that I hit it well, it was important for us."
He added: "We want to go for every cup. we all love football and we just want to make a special night - there was all the emotion at the end."
