The Aam Aadmi Party has won 13 of the 21 seats in the Samana Municipal Council elections.

The results reflected AAP’s good presence in the town, with the party registering victories across several wards by substantial margins.

Gopal Krishan of ruling AAP recorded the biggest win in Ward No. 4, defeating his nearest rival by a margin 885 votes.

Another AAP candidate, Kapoor Chand, won Ward No. 6 by a margin of 791 votes.

BJP’s Renu Sharma and Pooja Singla also won the polls while the Congress opened its account in Ward No. 14 and 16, where Harpreet Singh and Beant Singh emerged victorious.
