Aston Villa have officially confirmed that Aaron O'Reilly has signed a new contract extension with the club.
The 18-year-old has been with the club's academy for the past three years since arriving from St. Patrick's Athletic.
Having played for the Midlands team's under-18 and under-21 sides, O'Reilly is looking to make the next step up.
A statement from Villa read: "Aston Villa is pleased to announce that Aaron O'Reilly has put pen-to-paper on a contract extension.
"O'Reilly joined the club in July 2020, completing a move from St Patrick's Athletic in his native Republic of Ireland. Aged 16 at the time he signed for Villa, O'Reilly has progressed through the ranks and was a regular for the Under-21 squad this season.
"The defender signed his first professional contract with the club in August 2021, and has also won international honors for his country at age-group level."
