Aaron-Wooi Yik clinch first title of season with Korea Masters win

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 — National men’s doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soo Wooi Yik won their first title of the season after beating home pair Jin Yong-Kim Won Ho in the Korea Masters final today.

The pair had to work hard for their win, losing their first set 21-23 before winning the next two sets 21-19, 21-14 at Iksan Gymnasium.

The world number six pair took home a total prize money of US$15,750 (RM69,020), with the title qualifying them for the BWF Badminton World Tour Finals in Hangzhou, China, next month if they secure a podium finish in the Japan Masters on Tuesday.
