Kota Kinabalu: The long-unfinished StarCity building will continue with the project rebranded as “KK One”.
Sabah Urban Development Corporation (SUDC) chairman Jamawi Jaafar, in a statement, said the project will be redeveloped by SUDC together with Chinese builder Fusun International Holiding Limited.
According to Jamawi, the project was supposed to start in 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic.
"Now that society is recovering from the pandemic, we will resume the plan in the near future," he said after receiving a courtesy visit by Fusun International’s Executive Chairman Feng Chuibin.
