PETALING JAYA: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg has left it to the wisdom of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to appoint a prime minister who will lead a strong federal government.
He said this is also in line with the powers accorded to the King by the Federal Constitution.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, has given party leaders and heads of coalitions until 2pm today to propose their prime ministerial candidate.
